Stephan de Valk is director of MEVW, the Dutch Association of Educational, Professional and Scientific Publishers. MEVW is strongly involved in public-private cooperation. Spearheads are privacy, security and accessibility.
For 25 years he has been an educational publisher. Stephan has executed several roles in the managing board of Noordhoff, the largest Dutch educational publisher. The first 10 years of his career he worked as teacher and teacher trainer.
Since 2020 he is chair of the Educational Publishers Forum of IPA.
